Carpeted Ply Board – Adjustable
The Bambach Saddle Seat can be fitted with an adjustable carpeted ply board. This is recommended for children whose feet can not reach the ground, who would like to use the seat at various heights. This ply base is a popular choice for children with special needs.
Through research and case studies with disabled children, this carpeted ply board base has been designed to ideally suit the needs of small children. It provides support for the feet and is a safety option for those with reduced co-ordination. The sitter can use the Bambach Saddle Seat without the risk of their legs being caught up in the five star bases, which would be under the ply board base.
This base also stops them from moving themselves around by pushing on the floor with their feet. This base is used mostly by small or disabled children and therefore the very lowest gas stem is usually recommended for this seat.

Chrome Base
The Bambach comes with two five star base options. The black nylon base is included in the standard purchase of the seat. However, the five star base can be upgraded to a chrome base, purely for aesthetic purposes.
Drafting Foot Ring
The Bambach Saddle Seat can be fitted with a drafting foot ring. This enables the sitter to work/sit at a high work station, whilst still maintaining the neutral pelvis position with feet supported on the ring.
- Suitable for hospitals.
- Used in research laboratories where microscopes and high benches are common.
- Suitable for architects, artists, draftspersons, dental assistants, or anybody whose work station is higher than average.

Gas Stem Cover
Bambach gas stems can be fitted with plastic telescopic covers.
- Used in hospital and clean room areas, and production lines.
- Prevents dust or moisture affecting the gas lift.
- Comes in black only.

This accessory is used by many special needs customers who require the option of being clipped in to their seat for added pelvic support and/ or safety. The lap strap is positioned across the upper thigh region of the sitter.

Raise It's
These are a popular choice when a desk height is too low, or in turn, when a customer is too tall for their desk.

Travel Wedges
Bambach Travel Wedges are purpose-designed to relieve back pain caused by sitting in car seats and seats found in other forms of transport.
Research shows that long hours of sitting can do more damage than active work. When sitting, especially when travelling, the back is put into a stressed position for a prolonged period of time.
How it works:
- Using ONE Bambach Travel Wedge (under your posterior) will lift the hips above the knees and out of the 'pocket' that is usually present in conventional seating (a pocket lowers the hips and puts the pelvis into backward rotation, thus collapsing your spinal curves).
- By using a SECOND wedge (behind your back) to tilt the pelvis forward into its upright, neutral position and providing support.
The wedges are available individually or as a set of two (one small, one large). Each wedge has a memory foam interior, comes in black with a removable wool cover and are Australian made.
